Surrealism

Since I still have no way to upload pictures...I'm gonna embarass Mer!

This was taken in a shop in Jackson Brewery when we all came to NOLA for the LHIMA Convention! Who would have even thought that I would be actually LIVING here! Wow...it's surreal! I can't wait for Kayla to come down with Mer and Jo one weekend...maybe we can get her down here for their birthday weekend?!?! Mardi Gras!

Anyway...I love allllll you girls more than you know!

Today...not doing anything. Sean is working today and tomorrow! I guess I should be studying for my CCS is three weeks! AHH!! The end.

So here's the deal...my picture of the day isn't actually FROM today! I'm having a problem locating my cord that apparatus that connects my camera to my computer...so I'm just gonna upload one that none of yall have seen!

Since we are approaching Halloween, this is a picture of a "Haunted House" in the French Quarter. I took this when I went on a Haunted History Tour with Brandon...I know, Brandon? Yea..he came down one weekend, but I swear, nothing happened! Just like friends. Anyway...I don't remember the story....it's just a gorgeous, but haunted place in the Quarter! I LOVE NOLA!

Laggin' Behind

So I've been slacking on my posting...my bad, yo! Here's an update!

I paid for my CCS. OMG! I'm just waiting on the ATT to come in so I can schedule! I sure hope I don't fail....I'm so nervous!

I'm going to see Pat Green at House of Blues a week from today! I got two tickets for the price of one! Not a bad deal....don't tell PAT!

Work is great.

Can't wait to come home in October for the Eli Young Concert! WOOOHOOO! Speaking of that, I need to request that Friday off...

Sean and I have lots of things planned...Gretna Fest (Smaller JazzFest - Chicago, Jo Dee Messina, Cowboy Mouth), Better than Ezra (October 30th in Biloxi), and Stone Temple Pilots on December 29th. I'm so glad he's into music and stuff...he's making me branch out and explore other genres!

Oh, he won me the cutest kitty out of one of those machines in front on K-Mart...her name is Lily...hahahaha...we have tons o' fun together!

Packing

I hate packing! I don't care how excited I am about going on a vacation, I hate packing! What's worse is unpacking after you get back! I know this time, my suitcase will be full of sand and will get everywhere!

I'll be leaving Saturday at 12:00 to head to Orange Beach, Alabama! I'm going with my mom and two of her friends! I'm super excited about spending time with Mom...just Mom/Daughter time! I love it! I definitely understand that my mom is my best friend...which is pretty awesome!

I can't believe Cookie is graduating tomorrow! I never thought this day would come. I'm so freakin' proud of him...I got him the cutest graduation card ever! It makes me sad that I'm gonna miss it!

I have a new obsession...Gloriana! LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Their CD is GREAT! BUY IT NOW!

Needing Some Good Girl Time

I'm supposed to be cleaning my apartment for my company this weekend, but I just can't get into the groove! I'll be running like crazy when I get off tomorrow to get everything done! It'll be all worth it. I didn't realize until today how much I have missed my girl time. Since I've moved here, I haven't really met any girls that I can just chill with. I know that my girls are better than any other girls on earth, but it would be nice to meet some girlie girls to drink cosmos and watch Sex and the City with every now and then. I hang out with Sean alot...and I love it, but we all know you can't replace good girl time!

So...let's drink, party, and be girlie!!!!! See yall this weekend! :)

Red Dress Runners

Yesterday while Sean and I were downtown, we saw the red dress runners! It was like a marathon or something in which ALL of the particpants were wearing red dresses, lingerie, tutus, or mamaw dresses...it was the funniest thing I had ever seen! Look at this!
