Is It Really THAT Hard?

Okay...so I went to the GYN for my annual visit in January, right? I paid my $20 copay and thought that it would be done. But I got this bill for like $300. I thought it was right since I have some extra lab work done and some other screenings done considering my sexual past..haha! Anyway...I paid the bill in full. I have to go back to get my HPV #2 shot, then again for bacterial sinusitis, and then two more times for contraception management. The grand total of all those bills I had to pay was some where in the neighboor of another $400....CRAZY!!! I thought that something had to be wrong...so I called my insurance company. Stupid TULANE is billing all my visits as routine medical exams AND billing BCBS of Louisiana instead of BCBS of Texas....turns out, I probably shouldn't have had to pay any of those other bills. That's what happens when they pull noncredentional, idiot people off the street to do coding/billing. I swear, there is this one lady who has a degree in HOTEL MANAGEMENT who is a HIM director. What the HELL!?!?!?! Looks like it'll be a long fight with Tulane/Insurance trying to get some of the money back!

Sean and I had a quiet night in with pizza. He had an EGD done today, so he wasn't really up for anything crazy tonight. They found a toothpick in his duodeum. Poor thing, probably what has been causing all of his stomach problems. Anyway, we laid on the couch and watched stupid movies. It was fun! I just got home and will finally be spending a Friday night in MY OWN BED for a change. Don't ever take for granted sleeping late in your own bed on the weekends until it is taken away!

Tomorrow I plan on cleaning my apartment, getting a haircut, going to see the Zephyr's play...and hopefully venturing downtown for a little drinkage! :) Just trying to get ready for Mer and Jo's visit....wishing Kay could come! I sure do miss those girls....SO MUCH recently! Esepcially during these summer months! Anyway....going to curl up in bed with Season 2 of ER and a big glass of ice water....nighty night!
